Lucknow: In a delightful blend of music and metro, Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (UPMRC) hosted a vibrant Open Mic Musical Evening at Hazratganj Metro Station on Friday, filling the underground corridors with soulful melodies and audience cheer.

Part of UPMRC’s creative initiative titled “Show Your Talent”, the event saw enthusiastic metro commuters take the stage and mesmerize the crowd with heartfelt renditions of popular songs. The evening was especially magical as the voices of participants echoed the tunes of Arijit Singh, leaving the station bathed in a tuneful, nostalgic charm.

UPMRC’s Managing Director Sushil Kumar lauded the initiative, stating, “Lucknow Metro is not just about reaching destinations, it’s about making the journey inspiring and memorable. Through ‘Show Your Talent’, we are turning travel into a celebration of creativity and expression.”

Encouraging participation and artistic freedom, UPMRC announced that Open Mic musical events will now be held twice every month at Hazratganj Metro Station. The upcoming session will pay tribute to the legendary Kishore Kumar, inviting passengers to perform his timeless classics.
